Opinion document: The former Soviet Republics twenty years after the dissolution of the USSR

20 years ago, on August 19, 1991, began the coup against Mikhail Gorbachev, President of the greatest empire emerged in the twentieth century. From there it sparked a rapid process that resulted in just four months in that empire disintegrates.
