Informative document: Akrotiri and Dhekelia, British sovereign bases in Cyprus

In spite of the promises of the cypriot prime minister Dimitris Christofias to expel the foreign troops from the Republic of Cyprus erasing what he defined as "colonial bloodstain", the United Kingdom continues supporting the sovereign bases of Acrotiri and Dhekelia in the island of Cyprus.
