Propaganda for recruiting Daesh through their videos.- Paloma de la Fuente

Cruelty is the feature that best characterizes DAESH according to videos broadcasted by the media. However, the analysis of the audio-visual narrative resources used in Al Hayat Media Center’s videos reveals the recruitment of their audience as their first goal. To achieve it, Al Hayat transmits -through persuasive messages- a variety of DAESH concepts that are capable of fulfilling the aspirations of a public that is characterized by their social and cultural diversity.
