Nigeria, the first sub-Saharan economy, has a remarkable relevance for both Europe and Spain. But Nigeria is also a blend of armed conflicts arising from social conflicts that effectively deters the possibility of attracting foreign investment. This paper presents the initiation of an investigation into the "Nigeria" phenomenon, which aims to determine what elements exist in this country, which facilitate the evolution of so many social conflicts in armed conflicts at the same time. Throughout the document, the investigation is introduced with a description of the current situation in Nigeria and of the main armed conflicts currently active in its territory.
