Resilience concept in NATO and European Union: space for cooperation.- José Luis Pontijas Calderón

Resilience is a ubiquitous concept nowadays in NATO and the European Union to which both organizations are focusing their efforts. Both approaches might seem divergent, due to the fact that NATO emphasizes the need that resilience has to guaranty primary the efficient employment of the military forces during the operations, while the EU´s approach is more ample, and at the same time solidary including the states in its geostrategic surroundings, and taking into consideration the whole civil society. However, both are complementary and there is ample room for the synergy that would come from mutual cooperation from which both organizations would benefit..
