OBOR: China's One Belt, One Road initiative.- Águeda Parra Pérez

In China's transition towards an advanced economy, Chinese President, Xi Jinping, aims to incorporate innovation and modernization into the country's economic development scheme. China's One Belt, One Road initiative, known as OBOR, responds to this target, and is considered as the world’s largest infrastructure development project. Connectivity is a key part of OBOR initiative; hence, Xi had invited the economies of the region and the great economic powers to participate in the geo-economic project that will boost trade between East and West.
