The Evolution of the Salafism Phenomenon in Tunisia.- Paula Magro Checa

After the Jasmine Revolution, Salafism, repressed under the previous regimes, appears on the scene in order to become a sphere of influence for those who sought to cling to a social and political alternative in the post-revolutionary era. This essay seeks to analyze the evolution of the Salafist phenomenon and its roots in Tunisian society, as well as the evaluation of the current situation of Salafi-jihadism in the country.
