This document aims to present a general overview of the Russian foreign policy community; which influences government decisions both directly — by carrying out consulting work for them — and indirectly, introducing certain ideas in the public debate through their publications or media appearances. We begin by describing the three main Russian schools of thought on international politics: nationalist, Westernist and Eurasianist. Secondly, we analyze the research centers — state agencies, scientific institutes, and private think tanks — that make up this community of experts; as well as the profiles of some of its most representative members.
