Armed Forces polemological factor (DIEEEA59-2013)

Armed Forces are the result of a need. Therefore, its oversized or reduced size can cause conflict. The balance of securities among members of a community as well as mutual understanding are ways to avoid any confrontation. Western societies must face democratic accountability of having armies acting on their behalf.
