Chaos and violence in the Central African Republic and the international reaction (DIEEEA05-2014)

Since the rise of Michel Djotodia to power in March 2013, supported by the Seleka armed forces, Central African Republic is drowning in chaos and anarchy. The population suffers clashes between Muslim rebels and Christian militia, and crimes’ brutality warns about the risk of genocide. Faced with this spiral of violence, the National Transitional Government has not been able to guarantee its territorial stability Nowadays, the African and French forces have imposed a "tense calm" to the capital, but there is still a long way before solving the bad governance and conflict this African country gathers since it became independent. The new president Samba-Panza now assumes this huge challenge.
