Since December 2013, South Sudan suffers its biggest conflict since independence. Behind an instigating tribal rivalry, there is a power struggle between President Salva Kiir and former Vice President Riek Machar. Over 10,000 are counted, with a million displaced persons and refugees, devastated villages in the oil states..."None of us ever thought of such suffering and death –Mabor Simon regrets–. It is a political war, having nothing to do with the Dinka and Nuer”. Given this alarming scenario, the International Community seems unable to find a way to stop so much violence. Meanwhile, the feasibility of this new country is becoming increasingly remote.
