The destruction of the documents and archives (DIEEEA27-2015)

Meaningful destruction of the documents and archives is a habitual practice in the situations of conflict, but passes unnoticed against the force of the images of the destruction of monuments and buildings.
Despite legal and juridical regulations, the international community should pay more attention to the protection of archives as centers essential guardians to human security and the collective safeguard of the individual and collective heritage.
