The military and technology (DIEEEA72-2016)

This article is a development of an intervention that took place during the "Fourth Conference on Security, Defense, Mathematical and Computational Technologies" held in La Coruña in November 2016. It is a broad thought on the relationship between the Armed Forces and technology, the advantages of multidisciplinarity, the integration of Defense in the field of Security and its extension to any new fields of the society, as internet or social net. War, an overcoming dialectic, gives technology, the second element of the man-machine binomial, a burden that globalization challenges with its return to man and identity. Man in this dynamic is a soldier or a warrior depending on how much weight is given to this term.
