The American religion of winning and the American civil religion (DIEEEA13-2017)

On January 20, 2017 Donald Trump oath to be forty-fifth president of the United States. Religion has not had a significant weight in its campaign. However, the president has declared himself as Christian, although he does not often attend religious celebrations. However, the president and his family had relationship with Rev. Norman Vicent Peale, an arrabattoral preacher who sold millions of copies of his book "The Power of Positive Thinking." Also, for years, Paula White, a teleloger of prosperity gospel, has influenced Donald Trump with his spiritual orientation. Both have been challenged by their theological approaches and methods, which in spite of their heterodoxy attune the fundamentals to the American civil religion. In the vision and metapolitical discourse of the new president of the United States there are features of his mentors, with whom he has established a relationship that favors the interests of the parties without the necessity of establishing a damning alliance. The first candidate and then the president has established a strategy in relation to religion to win. So far it has worked very well.
