Relations between the Community of Latin American and Caribbean countries and the EU; Prospective (DIEEEO64-2013)

Traditional relations between South-American and European Union (EU) countries, take place in many forums, although UE-CELAC (Latin America and Caribbean States Community) could be the most relevant, not only because of the high ranked authorities attending, but also because of the resulting GDP form all member-states. Up-and-down agreements resulting from different meetings, state the importance of these assemblies.
The economic and values deep crisis, under which are involved some European countries in the UE, in relation to the economic lasting development of some South-American States, opens new markets for the first as once existing needs are being created in the last ones.
Asiatic market, less demanding than the European one, is getting the attraction of South-American enterprises. This situation could negatively affect the European Union. Nevertheless, nowadays, relations between both organizations are in a reasonable good health.
