The Theory of the Strategic choice: US, Iran and the States of the Persian Gulf (DIEEEO130-2014)

The academic Charles Glaser developed the theory of strategic choice, which develops and considers that it leads states to adopt a competitive or cooperative military policy. During my analysis I apply Glaser’s theory on US policy, Iran, and the Persian Gulf countries. Noting that these states lead to the choice of its military policies regarding American power, and the States of the region. Showing the potential "security dilemma" that can occur. I will use the theory of "Strategic Choice" to illustrate in most cases, the possible explanations that led to the choice of policies adopted by the US, Iran and some Persian Gulf countries, and how they affect the countries that are within our region of study.
