Daesh in Pakistan? (DIEEEO66-2015)

Over the last several months, news and analyses of the Islamic State’s presence and activities in areas far away from its operational base in Syria and Iraq have proliferated. Pakistan, besieged for years by homegrown terrorism, appears also to be a victim of IS infiltration. This article tries to provide a regional context and analyses the significance of the presence of IS in Pakistan.
