This article tries to point out that the concept of Jihadism is ineffective in defining a complex and heterogeneous reality, that little attention has been paid to the political narrative given by terrorist groups and that the strong identity component of terrorism has been ignored for the analysis. It also seeks to establish that the relations between space and power often are structured around the hate factor.
