Colombia towards a radical democracy? The enlarged democracy and the political participation of the FARC (DIEEEO124-2016)

The proposal of radical democracy that has been promoted by the philosopher Chantal Mouffe, can find in Colombia a "test laboratory" that offers important challenges.

This paper presents the results of an investigation that inquire the adequacies that would be generated in the Colombian democratic system with the political participation of the FARC (guerrilla group) in the next post-conflict period.

It is argued that in the colombian case there is an application of the theory proposed by Chantal Mouffe, with a different theoretical-empirical that could lead to a "radicalized version" of radical democracy: called enlarged democracy.
