Results of the Summit of G8 Foreign Washington (DIEEEI23-2012)

During the 11th and April 12th was held the meeting of G8 foreign ministers in Washington, DC. Foreign ministers have met this time to prepare the presidential summit next May at Camp David (Maryland, USA). The meeting focused on global development and security. Among the topics discussed were the support for a ceasefire and cessation of violence in Syria, the stability and security in Afghanistan, and peaceful means to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.
