The influence of the ideology in the selection of terrorist whites (DIEEEM12-2014)

Terror is a tool, aimed towards a definite end. Terrorist violence is always an epiphenomenon of a set of values and ideas –an ideology-, which provide it with a sense and a justification, but these values and ideas also pose limits. These limits may appear in the level of violence they can apply with relation to the final cause, but they may appear also in the kind of “targets” they are legitimated to hit. The higher the importance the terrorists allocate to the final cause, the lower the limits it presents, with the extreme cause of religious terrorism, where those limits may disappear.
