Bilateral relations between China and the European Union (DIEEEM15-2017)

Forty years after the beginning of diplomatic relations between the European Union and China, the two partners are linked by a strong relationship resulting from a continuing diplomatic and commercial effort. In this paper we try to approach to these relations from the perspective of the European Union. European Union top institutions leaders lead the bilateral relationship. The strengthening of the EU's External Action Service and the launch of A Global Strategy for the European Union, both issues seems to promote that European diplomacy is more firm than ever defending its principles and interests.
