UNTAC and Cambodia’s civil war (DIEEEO06-2018)

On its 25th anniversary, there are still far too many questions left unanswered regarding the role and effectiveness of United Nations Transitional Authority for Cambodia, always described by the UN as the swiftest, most successful and exemplary of its missions. However, did the UNTAC really achieve its goals? And was it a real example of immaculate success?
