India. 2014 Elections: Challenges and needs a new policy (DIEEEA31-2014)

Modi’s personality and his important challenges, both domestic and foreign policy, anticipate a decisive mandate for one of the two Asian giant countries. This charismatic and controversial leader, his overwhelming victory and the enormous challenges the country faces in this moment have given a capital meaning to the election, not only for the Indian Republic, but also for political, economic and social scenery of Asia. However, the continual news about sexual violence against women and the slow elimination of caste discrimination reduce the reputation of this country and blur the image of progress offered by the economic indicators.
