Gender equality into the Armed Forces from a constitutional perspective (DIEEEO121-2013)

The gender perspective in the Armed Forces is verified through a matching process with the Central Government but with the risk of translation of its gaps and deficiencies. The issue of sexual discrimination and reconciling work and family life reflects the peculiarities of the military institution on the basis of permanent availability criterion. Sexual harassment, abuse of power by gender are figures without typing in the military that require a legal response. The current challenges that gender equality in the armed forces involves adaptation to the phenomenology of social reality.
