Daesh children (DIEEEA26-2015)

The United Nations attests that the Daesh group has used children of up to only 8 years of age for its bellicose purposes. The recruitment of children and adolescents for combat-related labor is not a new phenomenon, but its generalization in recent years is. The innovations from Daesh to this scourge are advertising the lethal use of children as a method of attraction in a strategy that seeks to turn its fight into a multigenerational one. The process of the conversion of childhood into perpetrators is analyzed in this document, as well as the consequences that it has for the children themselves but also for their communities and for the Westerners.
