Latin America and the Challenge of Legal Security (DIEEEO41-2013)

The main problem of Latin America when it comes to face its legal certainty is the instability of its public and governmental systems, according to economic and political indexes.
As agreed by the States attending to the Special Conference on Security that took place in 2003 economic and social development are regarded as the main pillar of the “Security” on the zone.
Undoubtedly, any common “Security” project should include the legal defense of the diverse economic systems of the region, and consequently, they need to be present in every strategy developed in Latin America the States within.
