Brexit is becoming a negociating challenge that could impact on the future cooperation between Great Britain and the European Union in security and defence issues. It would be a net loss in terms of capacities for the EU, but at the same time it might be an opportunity for the Union to progress on the Common Security and Defence Policy. In any case, the security field will be the one where the British exit would have more impact. Brussels and London responsibility is to define the future cooperation mechanisms, in order to avoid vacuums in security and defence that could be employed by the threats that are stalking to all of us.
