Opinion document: Jihadist terrorism following the revolts in the Arab world

There are different views about how jihadist terrorism has affected the new geopolitical context generated by the revolts in the Arab world. This paper analyzes the development of the most significant events produced in the region since late 2010. The conclusion is that the revolts have weaken some of the main elements of terrorist mobilization, but at the same time have created an environment of political instability and a Governmental weak that favors the reproduction and activities for this kind of organizations.
