Informative document: The 3rd Review Conference of the Convention for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons

The 3rd Review Conference of the Convention on the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons was held from 8 to 19 April to decide its new strategic horizon. Since its entry into force sixteen years ago, around 80% of declared stockpiles have been destroyed. However, there are many challenges that are still present to achieve a world free of chemical weapons, without compromising the technological development.
