Opinion document: The financial crisis in Cyprus: An occasion to overcome geopolitical conflicts

In March 2013 the Cypriot financial crisis, which was developing through the past years, was virulently exposed. In the context of the country's economic restoring and its financial sector restructuring, the occasion could be leveraged to solve problems like the unification of the island and the relations of the European Union with Russia and Turkey.
