The new European Security Strategy 2016.- Javier de Carlos Izquierdo

European Council called the High Representative to prepare the new European Security Strategy in June 2015. This strategy should be presented to European leaders in June 2016. Member States have participated actively and intensively, as well as European institutions and civil society in the process of developing this strategy. This strategy, entitled Vision Shared, Common Action: A stronger Europe, reflects a strategic vision of Europe that is part of a common ground and presents a common way forward on foreign policy, security and defence.
