Nigeria, amalgam of armed conflicts. The challenge of Boko Haram.- José Mª Santé Abal & Juan Carlos Crespo Torres

Nigeria, the first sub-Saharan economy, has a significant relevance for both Europe and Spain. But Nigeria is also an amalgam of armed conflicts arising from social conflicts that effectively dissolve the possibility of attracting foreign investment. Not surprisingly, Nigeria is probably one of the countries with the greatest number of internal armed conflicts in the world. This document, the next one as part of the research project on Nigeria that is in process throughout 2017 in the Spanish Institute for Strategic Studies (IEEE), analyzes the conditions surrounding the conflict of the northeast of Nigeria carried out by the terrorist group Boko Haram.
