The Daesh has attached great importance to its media structure designed for supporting its military framework. This is clear based on the structure of its communication media and its social network activity.
The DAESH uses the magazine Dabiq, later transformed into Rumiya, as the link with its followers. Throughout it, stablishes its strategy and the way in which the jihadists have to contribute to its development. In this document, the 15 issues of Dabiq are analysed to determine the evolution of its strategy, leaving for a second article the analysis of Rumiya.
From this study we can infer their successes and their mistakes, which we must take into account to design our strategies of response.
