Nuclear power plants and terrorism. A latent risk.- Carlos Llorente Aguilera

This document aims to provide a comprehensive picture on the options of a terrorist attack that could threaten the security of nuclear power plants, and on measures taken to prevent this will be forthcoming. Nuclear facilities are among the best protected infrastructure at present due to the dangerous nature of the forces that has its main element, the reactor, having been carried out a major effort to regulate the sector both by states and by the international community, although it does not mean that there are no security breaches that could be exploited by terrorist organizations to carry out their activities in a field that definitely will report the impact and notoriety sought.
