The Spanish Institute for Strategic Studies (IEEE): 50 years researching and bringing strategic thinking.- Mar Hidalgo García.

On April 30, 2020, the Spanish Institute for Strategic Studies (IEEE) turns fifty. During all these years there have been profound changes in both the international and national spheres. The IEEE has also been changing its organizational dependency, functions, and organizational structure. But, despite these transformations, the IEEE has maintained the essence and purpose for which it was created: to bring research and strategic thinking closer to Spanish society in order to foster a culture and an awareness of defence.
