Can COVID-19 change the World?.- José Luis Calvo Albero.

Many experts point today to the emergence of a new world after COVID-19 pandemic, but the chances of that happening are remote. Pandemics do not radically change the development of mankind, although they can considerably alter already existing trends. When this crisis will be over, the problems of world leadership, the return to exclusively national positions, the viability of many developing states or the rise of authoritarianism will continue, perhaps increased or perhaps alleviated. Depending on the management of the crisis, not on the pandemic itself, this crisis will be remembered either as a relevant event or as a simple parenthesis without excessive significance.
