Disagreement with Russia and the keys to its military strategy.- José Pardo de Santayana.

Serious disagreements with the US and its allies have led the Russian Federation to reform and strengthen its Armed Forces. The Western powers' drive to shrink Russia into the liberal international order has had the opposite effect. Moscow has broken with NATO, sought an understanding with China, strengthened its global profile and succeeded in reconfiguring with Beijing a multipolar international system. Military successes in Ukraine and Syria have allowed Putin to further expand his strategic aim to the Eastern Mediterranean, Africa, and Latin America. The Russian military has triumphed where the West has failed and has learned to create synergies where chaos reigns. Isn’t it time to change strategy and replace one model of confrontation with another of coexistence?
