The impact of the COVID-19 crisis on the Sustainable Development Goals: an unprecedented setback in the 2030 Agenda?- Beatriz Navarro Sanz.

The 2030 Agenda, adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015, is a historic opportunity to achieve a more inclusive, just, and sustainable world. However, the COVID-19 crisis represents a turning point for the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, due to its devastating consequences at the political, economic, and socio-cultural level in the 21st century. The Sustainable Development Goals must continue to be the frame of reference for the international community, national governments and civil society in a post-coronavirus world that is seen as changing and complex, because they are the commitment and the guarantee that a better world is possible.
