The mastery of adaptability.- Jacobo Salvador Micó Faus.

‘The Art of War’ is the best strategy book of all time, it inspired Napoleon, Machiavelli, Mao Tse Tung, and great al-Qaeda leaders like Osama bin Landen and Ayman az Zawahiri. "The best victory is to win without fighting, and that is the distinction between the prudent and the ignorant man". Al Qaeda has been rebuilding itself in a prudent silence, a victorious silence.

In this paper we analyse how Al-Qaeda wisely applies ancient strategic knowledge. The core of Sun Tzú's philosophy of war rests on these two principles: "The whole art of war is based on deception" and "The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting". It is a culture of strategy in which thirteen fundamental sections appear in the strategic philosophy of Al-Qaeda.
