The conflict in Transdniester: Path of a solution? (DIEEEA35-2011)

Last November the 30th and December the 1st was celebrated in Vilnius (Lithuania) the first meeting in six years of the “5+2 Group”, to debate the conflict in the Moldovan region of Transnistria. In that meeting it was decided to celebrate in February 2012 in Ireland (next country to occupy the annual chairmanship of the OSCE) the so-called “Conference on political issues in the framework of the Negotiating Process for Transnistrian Settlement”. This represents an important impulse for solving this conflict, one of the denominated “protracted” or “frozen” that still exist in our continent.
