AbuSayyaf (DIEEEA34-2012)

The Philippine government has been facing for decades with the threat of armed groups in the north and south. We can distinguish two types of armed groups: those composed of Muslim and communist guerrillas. The communist struggle that demands changes in the system of land use, is led by the New People's Army (NPA) currently holds open a peace process with the government.
