The difficult path towards peace in eastern Congo: Implications of the end of hostilities the M23 (DIEEEO112-2013)

Just a couple of weeks ago, week the M23 rebel group, the most aggressive group in eastern region of the Democratic Republic of Congo, has declared the end of insurgency after it was cornered by the government forces. This victory has been received warily and it also opens an intricate peace process where African´s leaders capacity is going to be tested and where Rwanda plays a very important role.
