The Russian Imperialism (DIEEEO109-2014)

American and European think tanks, often neglect the fact that Russian citizens and their mass media, possess an outstanding nationalistic identity regardless of their political ideology. Not so much in the sense of a state and a flag that represents them; but on the values, history and culture that they share with the rest of individuals in the Panrussian sphere. This aspect, together with a deeply rooted defense culture, that refers to armed conflicts not as a fatality, but as a natural human consequence; explains the outstanding support that Russia’s foreign policy has gained among its citizens.
