Migratory movements arising from the conflicts in Eastern Europe and Caucasus (DIEEEO127-2014)

After the end of the Soviet Union, several armed conflicts have taken place due to a multiethnic context and under the neo pan-slavism policy in the geopolitical areas of Eastern Europe and Caucasus.
The so-mentioned conflicts, apart from redrawing boundaries, have produced both important human internal and external displacements between them, which has led to a new focus of tensions and the emergence of migration´s limitative policies.
