Intelligence Cooperation in the European Union (DIEEEO151-2014)

Information, and the process of its transformation into intelligence, already exists within an organization such as the EU to support the decision making process. However, this information and intelligence may: be isolated in one part of the organization; not be fused; contain duplications and contradictions; and not be shared, at least through standardized procedures. The EU needs a policy of information and intelligence that establishes a framework for cooperation and organizes existing structures.
