Japan, the space of Asia Pacific (DIEEEO77-2015)

The changes brought about since the late twentieth century within the space of Asia Pacific, morphological variations in safety area, the realization that a new era of strategic relationships starts, the emergence of true realities as India, China, reconfiguration US role in the area before the increasing strategic importance of Asia Pacific, and of course, the incidence of the challenges, risks and threats in the global agenda always subtle security are among other causes of changes in Japan's strategic projection the beginning of the XXI century. The current government of Prime Minister Abe Shenzo occurs with some subtlety a new Japanese national security framework to respond to new concerns and Japanese interests very different to those generated after the end of World War II and the new constitution of 1947.
