Walayat-e Khorasan: the Daesh into the heart of Asia (DIEEEO97-2016)

Daesh has shown to be the most powerful terrorist group and with greater capacity to direct action in recent decades, having exhibited its ability to conquer a territory, as before the Taliban, maintain and extend its influence to others. To build his empire has established Provinces, Walayat, dependent on the "Caliphate" in various parts of Asia and Africa.

In its idea of extending its empire to the East has beginning with the lands conquered by the first Caliphs, of which is part the ancient Khurasan, as a step to move towards Indonesia. There it has found two vulnerable countries, Afghanistan and Pakistan, where the Wahhabi extremism has spent decades struggling to settle permanently. The Taliban and other extremist groups have been glimpsed as the key tool to achieve this. The task has not proved easy: after two years of the start of their activities in the area their progress are scarce.
