Evolution of organized crime in Mexico: beyond drug trafficking (DIEEEM25-2015)

Last decade Mexico has been suffering for unprecedented levels of violence attributed to organized crime involved in international drugs trafficking activity. This has served to create a security context highly degraded and insecure, especially in states along the northern border.
The main purpose of the activities of organized crime are economic and profit; any analysis and research must take this factors because guide the strategies and dynamics of these of crime operator. This kind of analysis is essential for all those companies who wish to develop their activities in this context of insecurity since it will allow them to identify a wide range of risks related to organized economic crime and implement security measures more appropriate.
