Breaking the cycle in the eastern DRC: Armed Conflict, Violence and Minerals (DIEEEA63-2013)

This IEEE´s paper summarizes and analyzes the conflict in the Eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, where armed groups are heightening the situation of instability which facilitates the control of the mining, by the use of violence, obtaining the resources that fuel the conflict.
